History
We are a small Baptist Church located in the small
but growing town of Balbriggan, in North County Dublin in Ireland. We meet
on Sunday morning at the Order of Malta Building on Hampton Street next
door to St. Georges Primary School in Balbriggan.
Our beginnings were formed out of a series of Bible
Studies back in 1985. By February of 1986, it was decided that we should
begin a church. We held Bible Studies and children's meetings in a house.
By 1990 we needed a larger meeting area, so the Lord met our need &
opened an old warehouse where we met until 2003. We changed our name in
1999 after we made application to join the Association of Baptist Churches
in Ireland. In the summer of 2003 we again found ourselves needing a larger
place. The Lord again provided by making the Sunshine House available to
us. This venue served well until it was called upon to be used as a school
for the expanding population of Balbriggan, we then relocated to the Order
of Malta Building where you will find us today.
The main thrust of our ministry now takes place
in our weekly evening Life Groups meeting in Balbriggan and Ashburne.
We hope you drop a note to us, or if you live in
the area stop in and visit with us. God is at work, for sure. He is able
to help those in any difficulty.
I know He has helped me, and many who place their
trust in Him.
Thanks for stopping by. God Bless you. |
